The department was established in 1993. In the era of modernization, electronic and communication is playing a vital role in almost all the ways. There are continuous demands of electronics engineers and so the wide scope for jobs for the students of Electronics & Telecommunication engineering in reputed industries in India & abroad.
The department has well equipped laboratories as per AICTE norms. Covering total range of sophisticated equipments, machines, instruments, computers & software's, etc. The department has Eight full developed laboratories namely Basic Electronic Lab, Digital Electronics Lab, Microprocessor and computer Lab, Power Electronics Lab, Project and Electronics Workshop, Electrical machine Lab, Communication Engineering Lab and Network Laboratory.
The department has active Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering students Association (EESA) which is involved in students centric activities like personality development, industrial tours, expert lectures and social activities around the year.
Other than these labs the department having:
• Communication Lab equipped with microwave test benches.
• PCB lab equipped with PCB camera.
• More than 50 dual trace CROs
• 100 MHz & Digital CROs
• Various projects are done in the department in the field of VLSI, Micro Controller, Embedded System, Security systems, Mobile Communication and Application, etc.
• Computer Laboratory with latest version computers with internet facility.
